MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) is the nation’s premier in-depth training program that teaches individuals how to recognize, reduce, and manage violent and aggressive behavior.

This program originated in 1983 and is successfully utilized by hundreds of organizations.  It has been critically acclaimed by thousands, and credited with being responsible for helping participants avoid crisis on numerous occasions.

IFCPP has often recommended providing SOME form of confrontation training to anyone who deals with the public (including security staff as well as other front-line or regular staff).  IFCPP is proud of its affiliation with MOAB, as well as our  completion of instructor certification in MOAB Training.

We now include an introduction and overview of the program in regular IFCPP basic and management level workshops.

IFCPP offers the MOAB half-day program in De-Escalation, which teaches the principles, techniques, and skills used to prevent and deal with aggressive behavior.  A full day program is also available that includes hands-on practice with some physical techniques for qualified security officers.

Program participants will learn to recognize potential problems and deal with them in a safe, non-threatening, professional manner. Conference groups, individual institutions, or area cooperative groups may schedule MOAB training through IFCPP 30 days or more in advance.   The programs include all published material and training aids and may be presented at your location. Contact IFCPP now to schedule these unique and critically acclaimed programs.

See the IFCPP Training Calendar for class dates and locations (or contact us to schedule a class at your institution)!
