The Certified Institutional Protection Specialist (CIPS) program designates those professionals working in, or directly responsible for the protection of cultural, educational, and public institutions. This special category of IFCPP basic certification includes security officers, visitor services, facilities, or other frontline staff with duties in safety, security, and emergency preparedness.

CIPS COURSE INCLUDES:

Legal Considerations & Restrictions

• Code of Conduct

• Conflict Resolution

• Fire Protection

• Protection of Collections & Patrolling

• Customer Service/Guest Relations

• Emergency Medical Response

• Emergency Evacuations & Lockdowns

Cost: $200 inclusive (application fee, course work, exam, certification)
