Certification


IFCPP Provides the Certification Standard for Cultural Property Protection Professionals

The IFCPP offers the only professional certification for individuals responsible for cultural property protection. Our multi-tiered program provides training and certification for frontline security officers as well as their supervisors and managers. Our training and certification programs are also applicable for law enforcement officers, administrators, facility managers, human resources staff, curators, registrars, librarians, art handlers, visitor services, volunteer coordinators, and others who wish to gain crucial information and education about the latest methods available in protecting cultural, educational, and public institutions.

IFCPP uses a Learning Management System (LMS) to manage and deliver our cutting-edge online training programs. The LMS Platform is separate from the IFCPP website. You will need to set up a separate log-in for the LMS site. We hope to offer a single sign-on system in the future. Learn more about our LMS here.

CVRS - Online ONLY

The Certified Visitor Relations Specialist (CVRS) program is designed for line officers and other frontline staff, promoting guest-friendly security and customer service engagement. Offered as a stand-alone certification program or a supplement to the CIPS basic officer certification course.
