Recertify Your Cultural Property Protection Protection Designations (CIPS, CISS, CIPM & CIPM II )
If your IFCPP certification is up for renewal at the end of your most recent 3-year certification term, we offer the following options for recertification:
- Submit recertification application. Recertification by application is based on a point system of professional development activities and continuing education units completed since the beginning of your latest 3-year certification term. We are now offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) via our online Learning Management System to help our members more easily attain re-certification. Read about the opportunities to earn IFCPP CEUs here.
- Complete updated CIPS or CIPM course work online. (Active IFCPP Membership is required for online course work.)
- Complete live, updated CIPS or CIPM course work in person. Consult the “Training Calendar” page for a schedule of courses. The course schedule will be updated as class locations are added.
- Complete CIPM II advanced course work to attain CIPM II certification. All CIPM graduates in good standing are eligible for CIPM II certification, IFCPP’s next level of management certification.
