THE PLAN

The IFCPP conference team is pulling out all of the stops for its 20th Anniversary Conference celebration! 2 days of pre-conference activities, 2 days of cutting-edge educational sessions in downtown Denver and excursions to local cultural institutions, and 2 days of workshops and networking activities in Vail, CO!

Conference participants will gather in Denver Oct 18, 19, or 20 for optional pre-conference activities, including tours of the History Colorado Museum, Denver Zoo, and Denver's newest museum, the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art. Hotel discounts begin October 18 and continue through the following weekend.

If you're unable to join us for pre-conference activities, make sure to arrive in time for our traditional Welcome Reception at the Crowne Plaza Denver downtown hotel, Sunday October 20. We'll kick things off at 5:00p with food & drink, on-site registration, exhibits, and networking.

Monday and Tuesday, we'll host 2 full days of outstanding conference sessions, group lunches, and afternoon excursions to nearby cultural institutions, including a special-access behind-the-scenes tour of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science Avenir Collections Center. Each day is concluded with optional group dinners at carefully-selected restaurants. Your guest rooms at the Crowne Plaza will also include breakfast in their beautiful new dining room (Mon, Tues, Wed mornings).

After breakfast on Wednesday morning, we'll board a luxury motor coach and head up to the world-renowned Rocky Mountain village of Vail, where our friends at The Sebastian resort will welcome us with lunch and cozy conference facilities where we can continue IFCPP's timely educational program. When our guest rooms are ready for check-in, we'll settle in before enjoying all of the mountain amenities that The Sebastian has to offer (included with your room), followed by an optional group dinner at Leonora.

Thursday morning we'll start the day with a hot group breakfast, followed by a full day of presentations, seminars, workshops, group lunch, and an excursion to the Colorado Snowsports Museum Hall of Fame. We'll end the day with an optional networking happy hour, including local food and craft beer, and whiskey, wine, and craft cocktails.

Friday morning, we'll say goodbye to The Sebastian after another group breakfast and head back to Denver. Or, you can extend your stay through the weekend, on your own (at the same discounted hotel rate).

Once we're back in Denver, we'll drop everyone at Denver's recently remodeled historic Union Station, where participants can enjoy a host of restaurants, bars, and shops before catching a train, taxi, bus, or Uber/Lyft back to Denver International Airport.  If you'd like to stay in Denver a couple of extra days, the Crowne Plaza is pleased to welcome you back with discounted rooms.

As always, the IFCPP conference team has put together a not-to-be-missed cultural property protection gathering. We very much hope you can join us in our home state of Colorado this Fall!  Please contact us with questions as you plan your anniversary trip...
